The packets collected by LANalyzer may be stored in binary form in trace files.  This appendix describes the naming conventions used for these files and explains how to interpret their contents.

mwdemo.exe: 131315 bytes
MWDEMO.EXE -- 5-15-98/22:52p
MWDEMO.EXE provides a sample database and alarm generation utilities to assist in a live demonstration of ManageWise.  These files are referenced by the ManageWise 1.0 Sales CD but were accidentally left off.  They are useful ONLY if you have the sales CD.

NAVMW1.EXE contains the files needed to set up Quick Launch of NetWare Navigator from within ManageWise version 1.0 and later.

This document is equivelent fo Appendix A of the ManageWise 1.0 Setup Guide.  It is provided as an electronic reference document, so that the error messages may be searched.

mwlanz.exe: 2142067 bytes
MWLANZ.EXE; ManageWise Update -- 5-15-98/22:52p
This is a new version of MWLANZ.EXE (1/11/96).  It is much like the earlier version, with the primary difference that it includes NetWare LANalyzer Agent 1.10a which will work with "NetWare 4.1 SFT III" servers.   Secondarily, removed and unused adapters will now be handled more "gracefully".  The features and fixes in the prior MWLANZ.EXE are carried over.  Novell recommends that ManageWise 2.0 owners download MWLANZ.EXE.
