The packets collected by LANalyzer may be stored in binary form in trace files.  This appendix describes the naming conventions used for these files and explains how to interpret their contents.

lzw001.exe: 26848 bytes

LZW001.EXE provides a new version of the file VCAFT.386 for the problem, "Local ring stations BRIDGED".  The patch is only for LANalyzer for Windows version 2.1.

LZWDMO.EXE;  LANalyzer for Windows Demo Disk -- 6-15-97/21:45p
LZWDMO.EXE contains the demo software for LANalyzer for Windows and NetWare LANalyzer Agent.  It requires Windows 3.1.  However, no network adapter is required.

[UPDATED: 1996/03/25] TCP16.EXE is the latest maintenance patch for the client TCP/IP protocol stack.  It contains the latest fixes for Novell's 16-bit Client TCP/IP protocol stack.  Files which are no longer associated with this protocol stack remain available via LW42T3.EXE.

New LANalyzer for Windows 2.1 DI.COM -- 6-15-97/21:45p
This update allows LANalyzer for Windows 2.1 to work with the latest ODI drivers written to the new ODI 4.0 spec.  Before this update, the only way to get LANalyzer for Windows 2.1 to work with the new drivers was to use a "shim" (RXMONSTK.COM) that came with VLM 1.2.
