SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Project, when you print or print preview the Project Summary report, only one page is printed or previewed.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs when you print or print preview the Project Summary report and more information is included than can fit on one page. The Project Summary report can only be printed on one page.

A Project Summary report can be caused to contain more information than will fit on one page by either of the following:
  • Scaling percentage is adjusted so that the report can not fit on one page.
  • The report font size is too large for the report to fit on one page.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, use either of the following methods.

Method 1: Reduce the Print Scaling Percentage

  1. On the View menu, click Reports.
  2. Click Custom, and then click Select.
  3. In the list of reports, click Project Summary.
  4. Click Setup.
  5. On the Page tab, change the Adjust To percentage to 100%.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click Print or Print Preview.

Method 2: Reduce the Font Size for the Report

  1. On the View menu, click Reports.
  2. Click Custom, and then click Select.
  3. In the list of reports, click Project Summary.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. In the Size list, click a smaller font size, such as 10.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click Print or Print Preview.
