SUMMARY

When using the Oak video driver OAK864OL.DRV with the Works for Windows multimedia edition and Windows 3.1, you may receive the following error message:
This Movie Cannot Continue
This message has occurred in the following situation:

  • You are trying to run the Word Processing and Draw section of the Works tutorial.

Workaround

Use the standard VGA or SuperVGA video driver that is supplied with Windows 3.1.

MORE INFORMATION

The driver can be identified on the DISPLAY.DRV= line in the [BOOT] section of the SYSTEM.INI file. This error may also occur when using other third-party Windows video drivers.
