E-mail messages are sent to the Conndata\Badmail folder instead of to Exchange Server 2003 when you use the Novell GroupWise Gateway/Internet Agent program to handle incoming e-mail messages (924147)

SYMPTOMS

You use the Novell GroupWise Gateway/Internet Agent program to handle incoming e-mail messages on a computer that is running Novell GroupWise. When you do this, you experience the following symptoms:
  • E-mail messages are not delivered to a computer that is running Microsoft Exchange Server 2003. Instead, the e-mail messages are delivered to the Conndata\Badmail folder.
  • The following events are logged in the Application log:

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, add the following entries to the Gwia.cfg file on the Novell GroupWise server:

/DIA
/ari-never

Note The Gwia.cfg file is located in the Sys/system folder.
