- When DCOM has an authentication level of "None" (AuthLevel=0), you may experience TCP port exhaustion.
- The COM+ HASHEDBLOCK::ValidateHash method does not validate the data before hashing occurs.
- After you install Windows XP Service Pack 1 (SP1), you cannot specify a fully qualified domain name (FQDN) that contains more than 16 characters when you configure the account under which the COM+ application runs.
- You may receive a c0000374 exception in the COM rpcss!GetRegistryStringValue method when a registry key value contains leading blank characters.
- The original caller is unavailable when a COM+ application that is hosted on a computer that is running Windows XP is called from a computer that is running Windows 2000.

- When a non-delivery report (NDR) calls the GetBuffer method in COM+, COM+ sends data according to the buffer length of the SendReceive method instead of the length of the GetBuffer method.
