The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft CRM 3.0

The hotfix that is discussed in this article is not available for the Chinese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or for the Japanese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

SYMPTOMS

When you try to change a customer relationship that is created by another user in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, the Customer Relationship dialog box opens as "read-only" even though your role has organization-level permission. Therefore, you cannot change the customer relationship.

Additionally, you cannot delete the customer relationship by clicking Delete Customer Relationship because the Actions menu is missing in the Customer Relationship dialog box.

Note The Delete Customer Relationship command typically appears on the Actions menu.
