The Favorites list in the Organize Favorites dialog box is empty when you organize your favorites in Microsoft Internet Explorer (922373)

SYMPTOMS

You try to organize the contents of the Internet Explorer Favorites folder by using the Organize Favorites functionality in Microsoft Internet Explorer.When you do this, you find that the folders and the Web address list in the Organize Favorites dialog box are empty.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, click Run, type regsvr32 /i shdocvm.dll, and then click OK.
  2. Click Start, click Run, type iexplore.exe, and then click OK.
  3. Click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
  4. On the Programs tab, click Manage Add-ons.
  5. In the Manage Add-ons dialog box, click the Shell Namespace add-on.
  6. In the Settings area, click Enable, and then click OK two times.
