  • Microsoft Operations Manager 2000

SYMPTOMS

You move a Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2000 agent-managed computer from a MOM 2000 computer group to a computer group that resides in a new MOM 2000 environment. After you do this, you receive the following error message in the Application log:
Event ID: 21217
Severity: Warning
Resolution State: New
Source: OnePoint Operations
Name: Agent received no configuration from Consolidator
Description: The Agent received no configuration from the Consolidator. This condition may occur if a new Agent starts up before the consolidator has updated its internal rules cache. It may also mean that the Consolidator no longer has any information about the agent, possibly because the Agent Manager has not been able to contact the agent for an extended period.
If none of the above is true and this message recurs, contact Technical Support at support@Microsoft.com.
