A request that is sent to a Live Communications Server 2005 access proxy array is rejected (922231)

SYMPTOMS

When a request is sent to an access proxy server that is part of a Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005 access proxy array, the request is rejected.

When you view the flat-file log on Live Communications Server, you may see one or both of the following messages. These messages indicate that an error occurred: Request rejected due to invalid route signature.An expired key cannot be imported.

CAUSE

This problem may occur when the access proxy server does not process any Live Communications Server network traffic for three to four hours. When a request is sent to the access proxy server, the access proxy server returns the following SIP response code to the computer that sent the request: 481 Call leg/transaction does not exist.

RESOLUTION
