You are prompted to enter your credentials every time that you access the ASM Junk Mail folder in Outlook when you use Sybari Antigen 8.0 for Microsoft Exchange with Advanced Spam Manager (922218)

SYMPTOMS

After you configure the ASM Junk Mail Folder feature in Sybari Antigen 8.0 for Microsoft Exchange with Advanced Spam Manager, you experience the following symptom. When you click the ASM Junk Mail folder in Microsoft Outlook and then click OK, you can access the folder as expected. However, you are prompted to enter your credentials every time that you access the ASM Junk Mail folder.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because of the security features in Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
  1. Start the IIS Manager Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in.
  2. Expand the Web server computer, expand Web Sites, expand Default Web Site, and then click SybariJunkMail.
  3. In the right pane, right-click ASMJunkMail.bmp, and then click Properties.
  4. Click the File Security tab.
  5. Under Authentication and access control, click Edit.
  6. Click to select the Enable anonymous access check box, and then click OK two times.
