INTRODUCTION

This article discusses the fact that you can have only one task at the top level of the task hierarchy in the Project Manager tool or in the Task Manager tool in Groove Workspace and in Groove Virtual Office.

MORE INFORMATION

The first task that is created in the Project Manager tool or in the Task Manager tool should describe the defining task for the whole project. This task always resides at the top of the task hierarchy. After the first task is entered, you can enter any number of second-level tasks. However, you cannot add a second top-level task.

If you have another task that is truly hierarchically equal to the defining project task, that task is another project. Therefore, that task requires its own Project tool and tab.
