Microsoft distributes Microsoft SQL Server 2000 fixes as one downloadable file. Because the fixes are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous SQL Server 2000 fix release.
SYMPTOMS
Consider the following scenario. Microsoft SQL Server 2000 build 2187 is configured as a Microsoft Cluster Service (MSCS) node. You try to uninstall SQL Server 2000 build 2187 by using
Add or Remove Programs. In this scenario, you cannot uninstall SQL Server 2000 build 2187.
This problem occurs on 64-bit Itanium architecture-based computers. When this problem occurs, you may receive a message that resembles the following in the SQL Server Setup log:<Func Name='CODBCExec::CODBCExec'>
