Transactions or downloaded statements may not appear in the Account Register when you try to download a statement from your financial institution by using Money 2006 (921922)

SYMPTOMSWhen you try to download a statement from your financial institution by using Microsoft Money 2006, you may experience one of the following symptoms:
- After you download online statements from your financial institution, Money 2006 notifies you that there are new transactions. However, you may not be able to view the downloaded transactions in the Account Register.
- The download process appears to work correctly. However, no new transactions appear in the Account Register.
CAUSEThis issue may occur if the downloaded file contains double quotation marks around the payee name.
This is a formatting issue that is controlled by the financial institution that provides the downloaded file.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, the financial institution has to correct the formatting of the file by removing the double quotation marks.WORKAROUNDTo work around this issue, configure Money 2006 to use standardized payee names. To do this, follow these steps:
- Start Money 2006, and then click Settings on the Tools menu.
- Click Online service settings, and then click to select the Show standardized payee names for which a name match is not found check box.
- Click OK, and then check to see whether the issue still occurs.
