When you install Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs, Setup may stop responding during Plug and Play device installation (920308)

WORKAROUND

• Select US - English as the language for non-Unicode programs during Setup. After you install Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs on the computer, select the language locale that you want. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, click Run, type intl.cpl, and then click OK.
  2. Click the Advanced tab.
  3. In the Select a language to match the language version of the non-Unicode programs you want to use box, click the locale that you want, and then click OK.
• Before you install Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs, disable optical devices, such as CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drives, by configuring BIOS settings. Enable the optical devices after a successful installation.
  
  Notes
  • Do not run Setup from a CD-ROM.
