SYMPTOMS
After you install the hotfix that is described in Microsoft Knowledge Base article 912153, you cannot create follow-up activities from an activity form. Additionally, the owner of the associated record is not the current user. The owner of the associated record is the user who is listed in the
FROM field and in the
SENDER field of follow-up activities that are created from non-activity forms. Non-activity forms include the Contact form and the Account form.

When you create a follow-up campaign response activity or a follow-up service activity in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, the Customer field is not automatically populated with the originating account name
RESOLUTION
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 service pack that contains this hotfix.

System administrators can use the Spunist.exe utility to remove this hotfix from a computer that is running Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0.
The Spuninst.exe tool is located in the %Windir%\$NTUninstallKB919354$\Spuninst folder.
