Introduction

This article discusses how member counts are affected when a member is active in the same Groove workspace on multiple computers at the same time.

MORE INFORMATION

If you are participating in a shared space by using one account that is shared across two computers, Groove does not directly indicate to other workspace members that your account is active on both computers.

However, the tool tab indicates which members and how many members are viewing a specific tool at a specific time. For example, consider if you are viewing a Discussion tool on one computer, and you are viewing the Calendar tool on another computer. For each of these tools, your account will appear in the Members in Tool list that appears when you move your pointer over the tool tab.

This is not an accurate indicator of multiple computers because you can duplicate this behavior by viewing the tools from separate windows on the same computer. If you are viewing the same tool on both computers or in two windows on the same computer, your account name will only appear one time in the Members in Tool list.
