FIX: The YTD calculation is incorrect when you use the Business Intelligence Wizard to automatically generate a YTD calculation (917100)

Microsoft distributes Microsoft SQL Server 2005 fixes as one downloadable file. Because the fixes are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous SQL Server 2005 fix release. SYMPTOMSWhen you automatically generate a year-to-date (YTD)
calculation in a cube in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services, the YTD calculation is incorrect. This problem occurs
when the following conditions are true:
- You use the Business Intelligence Wizard to automatically
generate the YTD calculation.
- The cube uses parent-child dimensions.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, install the cumulative hotfix
package (build 2153) for SQL Server 2005 that is discussed in Microsoft
Knowledge Base article 918222.
