SYMPTOMS

When you use the Files tool in Groove Workspace and in Groove Virtual Office, you can co-edit a Microsoft Office document and open embedded objects in that document. However, the co-edit function cannot follow any subsequent navigation in the embedded object.

For example, you can co-edit a Word document that contains a Microsoft Excel worksheet or a bitmap image. The other workspace members that are in the co-edit session can see that the worksheet or the image is open. However, the other members cannot see any changes that are made to the worksheet or to the image. Additionally, the other members cannot follow any navigation that is made in the worksheet or in the image.
