SYMPTOMSWhen you install Groove in a Windows
configuration that differs from a standard Windows configuration,
you may receive an error message that resembles the following error message: Registry Editor is not in C:\Documents and Settings\username\Windows CAUSEThis issue occurs if the Windows configuration that you are
using blocks the use of Registry Editor. Groove must use Registry Editor to write to the registry during
the installation process. MORE INFORMATIONTo install Groove Workspace 2.x, you must have Administrator
rights to the computer. Because Groove writes to the registry during the
installation process, these rights must include access to Registry Editor. In some
organizations, users are given Administrator accounts
on their computers. However, these accounts may be blocked from using Registry Editor. If you are using this kind of account, you cannot install Groove.
