The same file has a different file name in Groove Mobile Workspace for SharePoint than on the SharePoint Services site (916376)

SYMPTOMSConsider the following scenario. In Groove Workspace 2.1,
you view the file name for a Groove Mobile Workspace for SharePoint file. Then,
you look for the same file on the Microsoft SharePoint Services site. In this
scenario, you notice that the file name that appears for the file is different in
Groove Mobile Workspace for SharePoint than the file name that appears on the
SharePoint Services site. However, both file names are for the same
file.CAUSEThis issue occurs because the Groove File tool displays the
title of a SharePoint Services site file in Groove Workspace 2.1 instead of the
actual file name. However, by default, Groove Mobile Workspace for SharePoint
displays actual the file name instead of the title of the file. Occasionally, the title and
the file name for the same file are different.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, you must upgrade to the current
version of Groove.
In Groove workspace 2.1, select a file, and then click
Properties to see the actual name of
the file.STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Groove Workspace 2.1.
This problem was first corrected in Groove Workspace
2.5.
