The information in this article applies to:
- Groove Enterprise Management Server 3.1
- Groove Enterprise Management Server 3.0
- Groove Enterprise Management Server 2.5
- Groove Hosted Management Services 3.1
INTRODUCTIONThis article describes how to remove a Web address for an
unmanaged identity that is converted to a managed Groove identity by using
Groove Enterprise Management Server 2.1 or 2.0. MORE INFORMATIONGroove
Enterprise Management Server and Groove Hosted Management Services cannot set a Web address for an identity. If a Groove user's
identity is not part of the Groove domain, the identity is a non-managed
identity. If a non-managed identity is converted to a managed identity by using
Hosted Management Services or Enterprise Management Server at the same time
that you are using Groove Management Server 2.1 or 2.0, this field was not
changed. Groove Enterprise Management Server 2.5 removes this field.
If you are
currently using Enterprise Management Server 2.5 or a later version of
Enterprise Management Server, or you are using Hosted Management Services, and
this field has persisted, the identity has not been edited since you upgraded
the server. To remove the Web address in an identity that was converted with an
earlier version of Enterprise Management Server, a domain administrator
must change any field in the member information for the identity in Enterprise Management Server. When the edited information is sent to the client, the Web
address is deleted.
