SYMPTOMS

When you install the Groove Data Recovery utility on some computers, you may receive a prompt asking if you want to keep the newer version of the Comdlg32.ocx file.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because some computers may have different versions of the Comdlg32.ocx file than other computers. The version of the Comdlg32.ocx file that is on a computer depends on the version of the Microsoft Windows operating system and other software that is installed on the computer

RESOLUTION

We recommend that you click Yes when you receive the prompt asking if you want to keep the newer version of the Comdlg32.ocx file.
