The appropriate license or licenses that you must have to upgrade to Groove Virtual Office depend on your current version and edition of Groove Workspace.

If you have Groove Workspace 2.5 Preview Edition or the trial version of Groove Virtual Office

You have not purchased a Groove Workspace edition or a Groove Virtual Office edition. Although you may be a veteran Groove Workspace user or Groove Virtual Office user, you are a new customer. Therefore, you must purchase a product, not an upgrade. At the Groove store, choose from the selections in the Groove Virtual Office v3.x Products box.

If you have Groove Workspace 2.5 Standard Edition and want to upgrade to Groove Virtual Office

The corresponding product is Groove Virtual Office File Sharing Edition. Choose the Groove Virtual Office File Sharing Edition Major Version Upgrade. To upgrade your edition also, first apply the File Sharing Edition upgrade to your current version of Groove Workspace. Then, purchase and apply the desired edition upgrade from the Groove Virtual Office Edition Upgrade section of the Groove store.

If you have Groove Workspace 2.5 Professional Edition and want to upgrade to Groove Virtual Office

Choose the Groove Virtual Office Professional Edition Major Version Upgrade. To upgrade your edition also, first apply the Professional Edition Upgrade to your current version of Groove Workspace. Then, purchase and apply Groove Virtual Office Project Edition Upgrade (from Professional Edition) from the Groove Virtual Office Edition Upgrade section of the Groove store.

If you have Groove Workspace 2.5 Standard Edition or Professional Edition and want to evaluate Groove Virtual Office

Note that you cannot apply the trial version of Groove Virtual Office over a licensed version of Groove. We recommend that you download the trial version of Groove Virtual Office on a computer on which you have not previously installed Groove Workspace.
