SYMPTOMS

You are viewing the Program Guide Privacy Statement in Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. If you press and hold the DOWN ARROW key on the keyboard when you are viewing this document, you may receive an error message that is similar to the following:
SETFOCUS() ERROR
Number: -2146823281
Description: 'aFocusTableArray[.]' is not null or not an object
If you then press ENTER or click OK, you may receive an error message that is similar to the following:
DRAWFOCUS() ERROR
Number: -2146823279
Description: 'itembtn_focus' is undefined
If you press and hold the DOWN ARROW key on the keyboard when you are viewing the Program Guide Terms of Service, you may receive an error message that is similar to the following:
DRAWFOCUS() ERROR
Number: -2146823279
Description: 'itembtn_focus' is undefined
If you then press ENTER or click OK, you may receive an error message that is similar to the following:
DONAVIGATION() ERROR
Number: -2146823281
Description: 'aFocusTableArray[.].10' is not null or not an object
If you then press ENTER or click OK, you may receive an error message that is similar to the following:
DRAWFOCUS() ERROR
Number: -2146823279
Description: 'itembtn_focus' is undefined

CAUSE

This problem may occur if the Done button is highlighted when the following conditions are true:
  • You are pressing the DOWN ARROW key on the keyboard.
  • You are viewing the Program Guide Terms of Service or the Program Guide Privacy Statement.
Note By default, the Done button is highlighted when you open the Program Guide Terms of Service or the Program Guide Privacy Statement.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, use either of the following methods:
  • Select any text inside the Program Guide Terms of Service or the Program Guide Privacy Statement so that the Done button is no longer highlighted. Then, press the arrow keys on the keyboard to scroll through the Program Guide Terms of Service or the Program Guide Privacy Statement.
  • Use the up or down buttons on the screen when you view the Program Guide Terms of Service or the Program Guide Privacy Statement.
Note When you receive these errors, press ENTER or click OK to return to the Program Guide Terms of Service or the Program Guide Privacy Statement.
