The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. How to enable the hotfix
After you apply this hotfix, follow these steps to enable the hotfix.
Warning Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might require that you reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved. Modify the registry at your own risk.
- Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK.
- In Registry Editor, locate and then click the following registry subkey:
KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_CUSTOM_IMAGE_MIME_TYPES_KB910561
- On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
- Name the new entry Iexplore.exe, and then press ENTER.
- Double-click Iexplore.exe, type 1 in the Value data box, and the click OK.
Note You can type 0 in the Value data box to disable the hotfix.
