You may receive a "The base product was not installed" error message when you try to install Links 2003 Championship Course Pack (910351)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to install Microsoft Links 2003 Championship Course Pack on a computer that does not have Microsoft Links 2003 already installed, you receive the following error message:
The base product was not installed. We cannot install this product.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because you cannot install Links 2003 Championship Course Pack without first installing Links 2003.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, make sure that you install Links 2003 on the computer before you install Links 2003 Championship Course Pack.

Note If you are installing Microsoft Links 2003 Championship Edition, make sure that you install disc 1 and disc 2 before you install disc 3.
