Xbox 360: Disc tray does not close (907590)

SYMPTOMS

The Xbox 360 disc tray will not close.

THINGS TO TRY

To troubleshoot this issue, following these steps:
  1. If it is possible, remove any discs from the tray.
  2. Push the eject button to close the tray.
  3. If the tray seems to be blocked, gently move the tray up, down, and to the side.
  4. Make sure that the faceplate is fitted correctly so that it does not obstruct the disc tray in any way.
  5. If the tray still does not close, contact Xbox Customer Service.
