SYMPTOMS

When you use the OHotFix program to install Microsoft Office updates, the following event may be logged in the Application log by the installer:

Type: Warning
Description:
Failed to connect to server. Error: 0x800401F0

Note The error code 0x800401F0 translates to the following error description:

CoInitialize has not been called.
