This article describes how to configure Sybari Antigen to receive engine updates through a proxy server.

Consider the following scenario. You are using a Microsoft Exchange Server environment in which the servers must access the Internet through a proxy server. In this scenario, you can configure Antigen to receive engine updates through the proxy server. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Start the Sybari Client (SybariClient.exe).
  2. In Shuttle Navigator, click Settings, and then click Scanner Updates.
  3. Click Proxy Settings.

    Note If you want the local server to use the proxy server settings, click to select the Use Proxy Server check box under General Settings.
  4. Type the appropriate information in the following boxes:
    • IP Address/Server name: Type the IP address or the server name of the proxy server.
    • Port: Type the port number that Antigen should use.
    • User Name: Type a user name that has user rights to the proxy server if a user name is required.
    • Password: Type a password to use for authentication.
