The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005
SYMPTOMSYou are using a Sony Media Center computer that is running Update Rollup 2 for Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. After you successfully create a CD or a DVD by using a supported Sony Media Changer/Recorder, you receive the following message:
COMPLETING DISC CREATION
You have successfully written your files to the disc. To create another disc using the same files, insert a writeable disc to the recorder and then select Create.
Create Done
However, if you select Create, you cannot create a second copy of the CD or the DVD.
CAUSE
In this scenario, the message is incorrect. The Create option should not appear. You cannot create another disc by using the same files unless you restart the Create CD/DVD Wizard.
WORKAROUND
To create another disc by using the same files, follow these steps: - Click Done, and then restart the Create CD/DVD Wizard.
- Insert another blank disc into the changer.
- Follow the same steps that you used to create the first disc.
