An error message may be logged in the Execmgr.log file on a SMS 2003 Advanced Client computer when you try to deploy a package (905799)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to deploy a package to computers that are running Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003 Advanced Client, an error message that is similar to the following may be logged in the Execmgr.log file on the SMS 2003 Advanced Client computer:
Verifying content availability for optional program ProgramName.
This problem occurs if you use quotation marks in the Start in field of the ProgramName Program Properties dialog box when you try to create a program in a package.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, do not use quotation marks in the Start in field of the ProgramName Program Properties dialog box even when the path that you add to this field contains spaces.

Note You must use quotation marks in the Command line field if the path that is used in the Start in field contains spaces.
