Halo: Combat Evolved: Known mouse and keyboard issues (905722)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to zoom by using the wheel button on a mouse in Microsoft Halo: Combat Evolved, the zoom function does not work.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if the AutoScroll setting is enabled for the wheel button in the Mouse properties.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
  1. In Control Panel, double-click Mouse.
  2. On the Buttons tab, click AutoScroll under Wheel button.
  3. Click Apply, and then click OK.
  4. Exit Control Panel.
