SUMMARYThis article describes late-breaking changes for the current version of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Upgrade Advisor. These changes are not included in the product documentation or Readme files. To download the SQL Server 2005 Upgrade Advisor, visit the following Microsoft Web site: MORE INFORMATIONUpgrading an instance of the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Database Engine to SQL Server 2005 retains the configuration value for the max worker threads option. However, we recommend that you change the max worker threads value to 0 before you upgrade. This change enables the Database Engine to calculate the optimal number of threads. For more information, see the "max worker threads Option" topic in SQL Server Books Online.
