Description of the icons that appear in the Account Register dialog box in Small Business Accounting (905151)

INTRODUCTION

There are three icons that may appear in the Account Register dialog box in Microsoft Office Small Business Accounting.

In the Account Register dialog box, one of three icons may appear next to the transactions in the left-most column. To open the Account Register dialog box for a specific account, follow these steps:
  1. On the Company menu, point to Company Lists, and then click Chart of Accounts.
  2. Double-click the account of which you want to view the account register.
One of the following icons may appear:
  •  Void icon The Void icon means that the transaction is voided.
  • Match icon The Match icon means that the transaction is matched with other transactions.
  • Reconcile icon The Reconcile icon means that your bank accounts and your credit card accounts are reconciled.
Notes
  • After you add a transaction, you cannot delete the transaction. If an entry is not valid, you can change the entry or mark the entry as void.   • The Match icon appears after you have downloaded transactions from an online account and then matched them by using the Match Downloaded Transactions dialog box.
