A GUID appears instead of the product name in the Competitor List by Product report in Microsoft CRM (899477)

SYMPTOMS

When you generate the Competitor List by Product report in Microsoft CRM 1.2, a GUID appears in the report instead of the product name that you expect. Therefore, you cannot click a product name to view a particular area of the report.

CAUSE

This problem occurs if you click the Toggle Group Tree button after you generate the report to view the report in Tree view.

RESOLUTION

Microsoft CRM has a fix for this problem that is part of a cumulative update. The cumulative update information is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
