The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Business Solutions CRM Sales for Outlook, when used with:
- Microsoft CRM 1.2
SYMPTOMSConsider the following scenario. In Microsoft Business Solutions CRM 1.2, you create a quote, an invoice, an order, or an opportunity. In the Quantity box for a product, you specify a quantity of zero ( 0). When you try to save the form, one of the following problems occurs: Product | Price Per Unit | Quantity | Extended Amount | Bicycle part | $100.00 | 0.00000 | $100.00 |
CAUSEThis problem occurs if you perform the following procedure: - You specify a non-zero value in the Quantity box for a product, and then you click Save.
- You specify a value of zero (0) in the Quantity box for that product.
- You click Save, or you click the Save and Close button.
When this problem occurs, Microsoft CRM does not recalculate the value for the product. Therefore, you receive the error message, or the program displays an incorrect value in the Extended Amount column of the form. RESOLUTIONMicrosoft CRM has a fix for this problem that is part of a cumulative update. The cumulative update information is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article: 904435 Update Rollup 2 is available for Microsoft CRM 1.2
