The FrontPage Web site can no longer query the database, and you may receive the "Syntax error in query" error message (898752)

SYMPTOMSYou change a Microsoft FrontPage Web site that contains a database Web page. When you save the Front Page Web site to a server that is running Microsoft Windows Server, the FrontPage Web site can no longer query the database. Additionally, you may receive the following error message on the database Web page: Database Results Wizard Error
Description: Syntax error in query. Incomplete query clause.
Number: -2147217900 (0x80040E14)
Source: Microsoft JET Database Engine CAUSEThis issue may occur if either of the following conditions are true: - A space character is included in a query name or in a database table name that appears in the HTML code on the database Web page.
- A space character is included in a query name or in a database table name that appears in the database.
WORKAROUNDTo work around this issue, use one of the following methods. Method 1: Use the Database Results WizardUse the Database Results Wizard to define the query name or the database table name that contains a space character. To do this, follow these steps: - Open the database Web page in FrontPage.
- Double-click the Database Results area to start the Database Results Wizard, and then click OK.
- Click Next.
- Click Custom query, and then click Edit.
- In the SQL statement box, type square brackets ([ ]) around the query name or around the database table name that contains the space character.
For example, the SQL statement should look similar to the following statement: - Click OK.
- Click Next, and then complete the Database Results Wizard.
- Save the database Web page, and then republish it.
Method 2: Change the query name or the database table name- In the HTML code of the database Web page, change the query name or the database table name to a name that does not include a space character. For example, change "My Query" to "My_Query".
- In the database, change the query name or the database table name to the same name that you used in the HTML code of the database Web page.
- Save the database Web page, and then republish it.
