Some Outlook Web Access users do not receive the password expiry warning message after you apply hotfix 816507 (896894)

SYMPTOMS

After you apply hotfix 816507, some users do not receive the expected password expiry warning message when they use Microsoft Outlook Web Access in a Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server organization.

This issue occurs when a user uses a double-byte character set (DBCS) language for the display name. For example, this issue occurs if the user uses Japanese kanji characters for the display name.

Note This issue occurs only when certain DBCS characters are used.
