You receive a "Microsoft Office Visio Viewer couldn't load the url address or the file" error message when you try to open a Visio 2003 drawing in Visio Viewer 2003 (896719)

SYMPTOMSWhen you try to open a Microsoft Office Visio 2003 drawing from a Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services document library or from a Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server document library, the drawing does not open in Microsoft Office Visio Viewer 2003. Additionally, you receive the following error message: Microsoft Office Visio Viewer couldn't load the url address or the file. CAUSEThis issue may occur if the Visio drawing has a file name that contains an accented character. For example, the file name may include an accented character that is similar to any one of the following: WORKAROUNDTo work around this issue, switch to Explorer view in the document library. Then, open the Visio drawing. To view a document library in Explorer view, click the document library on the Quick Launch bar, and then click Explorer View under Select a View.
Note To avoid this issue, do not use accented characters in file names.
