MessagePack 2005 is an update to Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.0. MessagePack 2005 updates existing message support to the latest SWIFT specification. It also adds messages to extend the range of applicable financial services scenarios.

The Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) messaging standards are updated annually. These standards appear in the SWIFT Standards Release Guide (SRG) and Message Format Validation Rules (MFVR).
