The Open dialog box takes longer than expected to display the files in a folder in Digital Image (894720)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to open a file in Microsoft Digital Image, the Open dialog box may take longer than expected to display the files in a folder.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if the following conditions are true:
  • Adobe Photoshop (APS) 7.0 is installed on your computer.
  • The folder that is viewed in the Open dialog box contains TIF, PNG, or JPG files.

    Note Files that have these formats display the APS icon.
