This Microsoft Support WebCast presents an overview and explanation of universal group caching and discusses the benefits, typical implementations, and troubleshooting methods for universal group caching. The presentation will also describe the requirements for universal group caching with regard to Active Directory and site configuration and address administrative concerns for implementation.

This is a Level200 session presented by Jason Opdycke.

Jason Opdycke is a support escalation engineer in the Microsoft Directory Services group. He specializes in Active Directory, Kerberos, the File Replication service, and Active Directory Service Interfaces (ADSI) scripting technologies. Jason currently focuses on technical mentoring and case escalations. He also regularly presents training to Microsoft support engineers and provides product feedback to Microsoft development groups.
