The value for the PR_ACCESS property that is returned from a WebDAV PROPFIND method is always MAPI_ACCESS_READ (read-only) in Exchange 2000 (892986)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server
SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server, the value for the PR_ACCESS property that is returned from the Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV) PROPFIND method is always MAPI_ACCESS_READ. This value is read-only.CAUSE This problem occurs because Read permissions are requested
when you use the WebDAV protocol to access items or folders on the Exchange 2000 computer. Therefore, the value for the PR_ACCESS property that is returned is always read-only. The PR_ACCESS property in the WebDAV response will always have a value of 2, or Read, on the property query regardless of the credentials that are used to
access the item or the folder. RESOLUTIONUpdate information
