SYMPTOMSAfter you install the Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005 trial software, it may expire before the end of the 120-day trial period.
You experience these symptoms if you installed the Live Communications Server 2005 trial software that is available as a free download from Microsoft or if you installed Live Communications Server 2005 from the Live Communications Server 2005 Trial CD Kit.CAUSEThis issue occurs if you obtained the trial software before December 1, 2004. The Live Communications Server 2005 trial software that was available before December 1, 2004, expires on February 13, 2005. This expiration date applies to the downloaded version of Live Communications Server 2005 and to the Live Communications Server 2005 Trial CD Kit. To determine the version of the trial software that you have installed on your computer, follow these steps: - Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Add or Remove Programs.
- Under Currently installed programs, click Live Communications Server 2005, and then click Click here for support information.
If the trial software is version 5369.0, you must install the updated version. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, obtain an updated version of the Live Communications Server 2005 trial software. An updated version of the Live Communications Server 2005 trial software is available from Microsoft.
