Xbox: Joining an Xbox Live game in Crash 'n' Burn (890501)

Note Crash 'n' Burn is a third-party product. If you experience a gameplay issue or an issue that is not related to Xbox Live, contact the game publisher for help. Crash 'n' Burn is an Xbox Live Aware game. An Xbox Live Aware game automatically signs you in to Xbox Live when the game starts.

1. On the Main screen, press the directional pad (D-pad) up or down to select Race Events, and then press the A button.
2. On the Race Events screen, press the D-pad up or down to select Xbox Live, and then press the A button to view the Online screen.
3. On the Online screen, press the D-pad up or down to select Quick Match or OptiMatch, and then press the A button.

Quick Match

With the Quick Match option, you can search for a game session and then decide whether to join the game immediately or to search for another session.

After you select Quick Match from the Xbox Live screen, the game immediately searches for game sessions for you to join.

• If game sessions are found, the game information is displayed on the Lobby screen. Press the D-pad up or down to select the car that you want, and then press the A button to join the game.
• If no game is found, press the B button to return to the Online screen.

OptiMatch

With the OptiMatch option, you can specify your game preferences and then search for games that match those preferences.

1. On the OptiMatch screen, press the D-pad up or down to select on of the following options, and then press the D-pad left or right to select the setting that you want for each option.
   • Event Type: Any Event, Circuit Events, Arena Events, Race, Team Race, Kamikaze, Team Kamikaze, Running Man, Last Man Standing, Team Last Man Standing, Bomb Tag, Assassination
   • Vehicles: Compact, Pickup, Muscle, Sports
   • Track: All Tracks, Select from one of the fifteen available tracks
2. After you configure your options, press the D-pad up or down to select Find Event, and then press the A button to search for game sessions.
3. If game session are found, the game information is displayed on the Lobby screen. Press the D-pad up or down to select the game that you want to join, and then press the A button.
   
   If no game session is found, press the B button to return to the Online screen.
