SUMMARY

The spelling checker in Works Word Processor module has a Skip Capitalized Words option. When this option is selected, the spelling checker skips words in all capital letters, such as MICROSOFT, but it will not skip words with only the first letter capitalized, such as Microsoft.

MORE INFORMATION

You can select the Skip Capitalized Words option in the Spelling dialog box, when the Works spell checker selects a word.

NOTE: Page 61 of the "Microsoft Works for Windows User's Guide," version 2.0, incorrectly states that selecting the Skip Capitalized Words check box will cause the spelling checker to skip proper names, acronyms, and other capitalized words. The spelling checker will not skip words if only the first letter of the word is capitalized.
