FIX: Delivery notification in a send port causes performance degradation in BizTalk Server 2004 (889077)

SYMPTOMS

When you use delivery notification in a send port, you may experience performance degradation. This problem occurs in a Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 orchestration.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the instance of the orchestration is dehydrated automatically at the point of delivery notification. The dehydration and then the later rehydration cause performance degradation.

RESOLUTION

Prerequisites

To apply this hotfix, you must have Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 Service Pack 1 installed on your computer.
