SYMPTOMSAfter you install the hotfix that is mentioned in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article on a domain controller that is running Microsoft Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4 in a mixed-mode domain, paged pool memory leaks. 832723 Domain controllers may be missing from the browse list in Windows 2000
CAUSEThis issue occurs because the unchecked growth of a queue has elements that are allocated from the paged pool memory. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, install Microsoft Security Bulletin MS04-44.
