The "Automatically move pointer to the default button in a dialog box" option does not work in a Virtual Server 2005 virtual machine (887733)

SYMPTOMS

On a Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 virtual machine, you select the Automatically move pointer to the default button in a dialog box option in the mouse properties. However, when you open a properties dialog box, the pointer does not automatically move to the default button. You must still move the pointer to the default button.

CAUSE

This symptom occurs because Virtual Server 2005 does not support the Automatically move pointer to the default button in a dialog box option on a virtual machine.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
